Job Summary: 

The Event Coordinator (EC) is responsible for coordinating initial client inquiries regarding bookings and private event sales of the Auditorium Theatre and the Katten/Landau Studio. The EC will also be the primary contact and coordinator for all special events and meetings in the facilities and occasionally be the Manager on Duty for these special events and meetings.

Graduates of Roosevelt’s theatre or music conservatories are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 

A bachelor’s degree in a related field.

A minimum of 1 year of experience within the industry

Creative problem solver

Diverse knowledge of theatre practices and operations preferred

Superb organizational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships

Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence by embodying Roosevelt’s core values, mission, and vision in every aspect of the role working with students, faculty, staff, and visitors

A positive and professional demeanor is a must

Highly computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in managing the financial and technical complexity of large-scale productions, preferred.
