The Department of Speech and Hearing Science at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. invites applications for a non- tenure track position at the assistant professor level. This is a 9-month position with possibilities for summer teaching. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, scholarly activity, and and participation in departmental and university service.
George Washington University is an urban campus situated in the Foggy Bottom area of Washington along with access to several Metro lines. The University is in close proximity to the White House, restaurants, the National Mall and Memorial Parks, the Smithsonian museums, and various other sites of interest. The University is a member of the Consortium of Universities in the Washington metropolitan area, providing access to library resources of the seven member Universities for faculty, staff, and students.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications:

Applicant must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Speech - Language -Hearing Sciences or related disciplines by the date of appointment. Applicants must have a strong background and interest in clinical and research areas related to diagnostics and the treatment of childhood speech, language, and/or hearing disorders.
