Duties and Responsibilities This position provides critical, time-sensitive technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students to support daily operations and teaching and learning.- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software related to computers, printers, scanners, audio/visual, mobile, classroom, and lab technologies. Complete most requests independently and consult with others on team or with vendors as necessary to complete tasks;- Complete daily work tickets in a timely manner, prioritize work requests, and provide excellent customer service;- Provide consulting assistance to faculty, staff, and students in the use of computer hardware, software, network, and other technology;- Work with team members to plan enterprise deployments and upgrades, which may include creating and deploying images and consulting on technology selection and purchases;- Troubleshoot network connectivity and work with networking team to resolve;- Support remote sites through remote assistance tools and/or travel as needed;- Support the development of collaborative spaces and expansion of web 2.0 technologies;- Support the use of technology in teaching and learning; and,- Lift and/or carry computers and equipment, up to approximately 50 pounds.

Minimum Required Education Baccalaureate degree in Information Systems or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications None required, but related certifications are a plus.

Type and Amount of Experience Needed - One to three years of related technical support experience.- Experience working directly with a user community, excellent personal and customer service skills.- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications - Experience deploying images in an enterprise environment- Knowledge of SCCM, KACE or comparable technology- Experience supporting multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, IOS, Android)- Experience deploying and supporting Office 365
