The Health Education Specialist will be primarily responsible for assisting with research, development, and implementation of outreach programs pertinent to the needs of the students on campus. Programming includes but is not limited to: sexual health, tobacco cessation, stress management, healthy lifestyles, and other related wellness programming. Additional duties include: analyzing programming for goal attainment; researching other alternatives to present information; surveying students to ensure programming fits needs; developing and teaching programs and presentations designed to educate students about healthy lifestyle decisions; overall impact and outcomes; and behavioral changes which may improve them.

The ideal candidate will possess experience working in the field of health education; have exceptional listening and inter-personnel skills; be well organized; have the ability to multi-task and manage time; possess excellent communication skills (both written & verbal); have demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service; and be dependable.

Master's degree preferred with Masters in Health Promotion/Education or Public Health highly preferred. CHES certification preferred,
