Summary of Duties:
The Center of Interdisciplinary Statistics Education and Research (CISER) within the College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS) and the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at Washington State University (WSU) is seeking a dynamic, motivated, problem-solving faculty member to join an extraordinary team. As an integral part of this team, we are looking to fill a 9-month, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor position to begin August 16, 2017, or as negotiated, at the Pullman, Washington campus.

This position is directly responsible to the CISER Director.

This position is primarily responsible for training graduate students, providing design expertise on complex statistical research problems and projects for faculty and graduate students. The successful candidate will assume primary responsibility for day-to-day center work load management. The position is also responsible for providing advice, guidance, and completing statistical analyses, teaching statistical courses, mentoring and advising graduate students and participating, as appropriate, on committees, and other activities of CISER, CAHNRS, CAS and WSU.

Required Qualifications:
- Earned Ph.D. at the time of hire in Statistics or Statistical Sciences or related field. Candidates with an MS degree with experience in Statistical Consulting and collaboration will also be considered;
- Demonstrated experience in Statistical Consulting and Interdisciplinary research; and
- Demonstrated ability to work on interdisciplinary teams to conduct transdisciplinary research and outreach.
