Position Summary:
The Chemistry Department at Willamette University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to fill a one-year appointment starting in August 2017.

RANK: Visiting Assistant Professor (PhD) or Visiting Instructor (ABD)

Possible teaching opportunities include experimental biochemistry lab, advanced topics in biochemistry, general chemistry, and general chemistry laboratory. The typical teaching load per semester is two lecture courses, and two laboratory sections.

This position is eligible for medical and dental benefits.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are ABD in Chemistry or Biochemistry. Ideal candidate will have Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry. A demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching is required.
