Springfield College invites applications for the position of Associate Registrar/Systems Coordinator. Springfield College is a private, coeducational college located in picturesque New England, and is situated on the shores of Lake Massasoit. The institution confers undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral degrees.


  • Reporting directly to the Registrar this position is responsible for providing leadership and supervision in the ongoing development, testing, implementation and utilization of software applications that directly relate to Registrar’s office functions.
  • Functions include, but are not limited to, the maintenance and security of student academic records, course scheduling, catalog and curriculum management, transcript and diploma ordering, department web page, enrollment reporting and degree conferral processing.
  • Provide data and process information through the use of COGNOS reporting in conjunction with the Jenzabar CX Student Information System.
  • Supervises and monitors all data input contributing to the production of reports.
  • Supports the Registrar and assumes responsibilities of the Registrar in his absence.
  • Provides support and supervision to the staff.


  • A Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
  • 5 years’ experience in a College Registrar’s office.
  • Experience working with student information system administrative software (Jenzabar CX preferred), as well as other software used in supporting processes in the Registrar’s Office (Scheduling, Catalog, Curriculum, CRM’s, etc.).
  • Good computer, communication and analytical skills required (Microsoft Office products, COGNOS).
  • Must be detail attentive with ability to work under extreme deadlines and contribute to a team effort in achieving the responsibilities of the Registrar’s office and the mission of the College.
  • Knowledge of reporting requirements; higher education accreditation and certification requirements and standards; AACRAO guidelines; planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Ability to provide technical advice and information to faculty, staff, and students; manage multiple, integrated databases; and supervise staff.
