Job Description

Due to a significant expansion in the program, the Children's Hospital at the University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a Pediatric Intensivist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our Pediatric Intensivists in the full time coverage of the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in mid- Missouri. The position includes patient care responsibilities in the PICU, involvement in a thriving and ever increasing sedation service, and the teaching of residents and medical students. Clinical research actively pursued and encouraged.

The PICU is a 13-bed unit with active general surgery, neurological, ENT, orthopedic surgery and plastic surgical programs. Columbia is a pleasant, picturesque University town providing the amenities found in large cities in a small town environment. Qualifications

MD/DO degree and board certification in Pediatrics and board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care are required. Those with additional training in Anesthesiology, Cardiology or Pulmonary medicine are also encouraged to apply.
