This posting will establish and maintain a pool of part-time lecturers with experience teaching Political Science courses, such as American Political Thought, Research Methodology, Constitutional Politics, Ethics of Politics, Environmental Politics, and courses within their area of expertise, for the Department of Political Science in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver. By submitting your application, you will become part of an applicant pool. Candidates hired from this pool will fill temporary, non-tenure track positions and will teach no more than one course per semester. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50%) and will be made semester-by-semester, depending on the needs of the department and subject to budgetary approval. Therefore, this posting does not necessarily reflect a current open position. This temporary Lecturer recruitment pool is anticipated to remain continuously active until December 31, 2017 at which point all applicants will be cleared from the pool. Applicants are encouraged to apply to future recruitment pools after that date. The Department of Political Science will contact you if an opening suits your qualifications.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:



Master's Degree in Political Science from an accredited university. Previous teaching experience. PhD or ABD in Political Science preferred.
