Duties: Reporting to the dean of the Annenberg School for Communication, this part-time position will provide engineering and facilities research and support services for the Annenberg School. Responsibilities include project design and management support, building maintenance support, and the proactive research and identification of the need for modified building and/or safety systems. This position will also review, monitor, and recommend design modifications and repair options as needed, and will be responsible for the development of a 25-year building maintenance plan. Position is part-time, 20 hours per week.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience that includes both large and small-scale project planning and leadership, budget development, feasibility studies, and operational manuals. Experience managing building renovations and/or new construction projects. Must have experience developing long-range maintenance plans. Must have strong initiative with the ability to proactively identify facility and safety deficiencies and develop plans to remedy. Must multi-task, prioritize, delegate, work independently and/or as part of a team. Must have demonstrated excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to think analytically and strategically. Working knowledge of project management software, skilled in Microsoft Office, and capacity to learn new systems required.
