College Information:

The College of Mathematics and Science currently has 135 full-time and over 75 part-time faculty in 7 academic departments. The College serves more than 3,600 undergraduate students in 26 majors and provides graduate programs in Biology, Applied Mathematical Sciences, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Engineering Physics, and Nursing. Accreditation/Certification is held by ABET, the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, the American Board of Funeral Service Education, and the American Chemical Society. Position Summary:

Assistant Professors must have completed all requirements in a doctoral program at an accredited or internationally recognized institution; or completed a non-doctoral degree program requiring a minimum of 60 graduate hours. Teaching; research; departmental/school, college and university service is expected. This position is full-time, tenure-track position.

Department Specific Essential Job Functions:

Position includes classroom and clinical teaching of undergraduate and graduate nursing courses.

Possible areas of instruction include Foundations of Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Medical-Surgical Nursing.

Other job responsibilities include scholarly/creative activities and service to the department, college, university and profession.


Salary Range: Commensurate with credentials and experience.
