Minimum one to three years of coaching experience is preferred. Ideal candidates should demonstrate the following: the ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups and administrators, faculty, staff and students; ability to develop and implement innovative approaches and solutions; ability to work well independently and in teams; and the ability to be flexible in accepting new responsibilities.

Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Head Men's Hockey Coach, serve as an Assistant Coach of a Division I Men's Hockey program in accordance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University regulations. Areas of responsibility include: scouting and recruiting of potential student-athletes, on-ice practice organization and instruction, analysis of game and practice video, game management, conditioning of athletes, public relations, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

This is a Limited appointment on an 11-month contract. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included. Anticipated start date on or after July 1, 2017.
