Multimedia & Event Technician
Assists in the scheduling, delivery, set-up and support of multimedia equipment. This position also provides "on-demand" user assistance of multimedia equipment as well as computerized control systems such as Crestron for faculty, staff and community members utilizing multimedia presentation equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of computers and networking protocols. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Ability to lift, move and transport equipment which may weigh up to 50 pounds. Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets college insurance provider requirements. Ability to bend, crawl, stoop and reach in order to provide customer support in the installation, repair and maintenance of hardware, software and other technology.
Exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective research and problem solving abilities strongly preferred.
