Adjunct Assistant Professor, Learning Strategies
The Learning Strategies Program at Johnson County Community College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach one or more Learning Strategies classes starting Fall 2017.
The times available are morning and afternoon classes. Training for teaching Learning Strategies is provided.
Master's degree in Education or Education related field or Master's degree in the content specialty.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Computer literacy skills.
Treat all members of the college community with dignity and respect demonstrating inclusivity and civility, and engage in constructive conflict resolution.
1 or more years of higher education teaching experience. Note: this position requires one or more years of post-secondary teaching experience.
Community College teaching experience.
Experience working with diverse learners.
Experience in student success and academic skills training.
Current in Brain-Based learning.
Demonstrated interest in and commitment to ongoing professional development.
