Job Summary: On call position available for NYS certified security guards. Coverage is needed for all shifts including midnight shifts, evening and weekends. Responsibilities include security patrol, report writing and dispatching for the Skidmore College campus, enforcing college's rules and regulations, conducting preliminary investigations and interacting with a diverse population. Must have physical stamina for required patrol functions including a large amount of walking and stairs. There will be a background check. Prior applicants may reapply.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, at least one year of related experience, a valid NYS driver's license and a valid New York State Security Guard license. Familiarity with computer applications is essential.

Preferred Qualifications: Candidate should possess good communication and writing skills, and have a working knowledge of the NYS Penal Law and Criminal Procedure Law. Prior law enforcement experience is preferred.
