About the College/Department
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Arkansas sponsors 19 varsity sports programs (eight men's and 11 women's). These 19 programs include more than 460 student-athletes who participate in the various sports programs annually within the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA). As the only mascot of its kind in college athletics, the Arkansas Razorbacks, also known as Hogs, compete in the NCAA's Division I (FBS in football) and are a current member of the Southeastern Conference in the Western Division. The mission of the Razorback Athletic Department is to assist in the development of student-athletes to their fullest potential through intercollegiate athletics.

Summary of Job Duties
The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will assist the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach with all aspects of the Football training program.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- First Aid, AED and CPR certified
- Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC)
- Experience within a NCAA Division I football strength & conditioning program
Does this job require any license(s)/certification(s)? Yes
If yes, please specify First Aid, AED, CPR, CSCS, and SCCC certifications
- Experience within an SEC football strength & conditioning program (internships are applicable)

Physical Conditions The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside., The worker is subject to extreme cold. Temperatures typically below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity., The worker is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity., The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level., The worker is subject to vibration. Exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body., The worker is frequently in close quarters, crawl spaces, shafts, manholes, small enclosed rooms, small sewage and line pipes, and other areas that could cause claustrophobia., The worker is required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
