University of North Texas - Administrative Coordinator III

The University IT Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator III. This is a professional administrative position supporting the business management and staff services functions for the University IT department. This position is responsible for providing executive, administrative, and analytical support to the Sr. Director and leads management and administrative services for the University IT department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Administrative Support to Sr. Director: Fields calls, visitors, arranges meetings, and manages calendars. Assists with preparation of reports, presentations, policies, and correspondence. Plans and coordinates special events and activities, and handles travel arrangements.* Human Resource Management: Handles timekeeping, payroll, personnel documentation, recruitment, onboarding and terminations. Researches, interprets and communicates university and departmental services, policies and procedures for employees. * Purchasing: Manages purchasing transactions and tracks expenditures including computer equipment and supplies to support offices, conference rooms, classrooms, testing centers, and help desk. * Office Management: General office management, space planning, access control, asset management, and is the liaison for internal and external constituents of UIT services. Coordinates travel arrangements and reimbursement vouchers. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and three years of office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
