Research Analyst, VP: Enroll Mgmt & Student Affairs - #603197

The Office of Analytics and Assessment in the Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Division at Northern Arizona University is seeking an experienced professional to provide data analysis, and operational reporting related to enrollment services and student affairs operations. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of higher education recruitment and enrollment processes, data systems, and analytic tools and methods as well as possess excellent communication skills needed to work in a fast-paced environment as part of multiple teams within the university and higher education community. Responsibilities included but not limited to providing analysis for the Enrollment Services (Admission and Financial Aid) functions of the EMSA Analytics and Assessment Office and supports other EMSA functions as needed by fulfilling requests for data from various university departments and outside vendors. Building and modifying Business Objects queries to create targeted communication lists, preparing, explaining, and communicating strategic and operational analyses in written and oral reports that utilize Business Objects, National Student Clearinghouse, Tableau, Microsoft Excel/Office, and other programs and data sources. Providing and participating in training and development of new tools, techniques, and software, including as a priority using dashboards and data visualization tools along with actively participating in monitoring progress and goal setting within Analytics & Assessment team and supporting measurement of goals in other EMSA departments.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Statistics, Business, or related field and three years of demonstrated experience in business or academic setting related to enrollment management, business management, or academic-related data analysis and reporting; or any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/education.

Annual Salary: Commensurate with experience.
