Business Analyst/Business Analyst, Associate, Enrollment Services - #603141

Northern Arizona University’s Department of Admissions is seeking two Admissions officers for the North Valley and East Valley locations. Northern Arizona University is seeking two positions - Business Analyst and/or Business Analyst-Associate who are committed to the Enrollment Management and Student Affairs values of student service, integrity, valuing human difference, engagement, sustainability, responsibility, and excellence. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of the organization. It is expected that the employees demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values and support the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affair’s strategic plan. These positions may require heavy workloads during peak operational periods, requiring work beyond normal hours and during non-standard work hours. These positions report to the Director of Enrollment Services Functional Support and will be working with offices of Enrollment Services which includes Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) and Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation (UAO). We will consider applicants at both the Business Analyst and Business Analyst-Associate levels. Business Analysts work on moderately complex tasks that involve a solid understanding of business process and the technical components that support that process. Business Analyst-Associates generally work under the direct supervision of other Analysts or the supervisor on most technical tasks, but may work more independently on less complex tasks.

Minimum Qualifications: Business Analyst Associate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND two years of demonstrated experience in business process work; OR
  • Five years of procedural, technical, management, or systems analysis work; OR
  • Any equivalent combination of directly related experience, training and/or education.

Business Analyst:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND four years of demonstrated experience in business process work; OR
  • Seven years of procedural, technical, management, or systems analysis work; OR
  • Any equivalent combination of directly related experience, training and/or education.

Annual Salary: Commensurate with experience.
