Employment Status: Full-time, "Non-Exempt", Temporary position in the Facilities Department.
**Note:  This is a full-time, temporary position that has the possibility of converting to a full-time, permanent position.**

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; with the possibility of an alternate 4/10 work schedule from June 23 - September 1.

Overview:
The Facilities Management Department is a unit within the Administration and Finance division and is responsible for the management and development of facilities on campus. The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic works within the Building and Mechanical Services shop which is responsible for providing quality maintenance and minor repair and renovation services.
 
Under direction of the Building and Mechanical Services Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Mechanic works independently as a skilled generalist and performs at a journey level in one trade with strong skills in other trades to perform a variety of skilled preventive and general maintenance, repair, construction and renovation work on facilities and systems, to support a clean, safe and attractive learning environment. This position also performs scheduled preventive maintenance on installed equipment.
