Job Title Parking Enforcement Aide

Job Description

Patrols University parking lots and garages to enforce parking regulations; issues parking citations; sets up parking cones/barricades; perform lot attendant duties for events; perform general maintenance and cleaning in garages and lots; interact with public providing answers to questions about parking, directions or other information about the University; assists with issuance of parking permits.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must possess a valid driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record, and be physically able to operate a motor vehicle.

Must be willing to work out of doors in all weather conditions.

Work flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and over the telephone.

Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.

Ability to interpret procedures and arrive at procedural decisions and judgments.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Salary Range $11.00 Hourly

Job Duties

Essential Job Duties

Preparation of parking tickets and warnings.
Moves and sets up signs, barrels, barricades and other traffic control equipment.
Performs lot attendant duty.
Operation and routine servicing of University vehicle.
Provide public assistance to University employees, students and visitors.
Provides information to employees, students, and visitors regarding campus parking regulations and directions.
Provides low-level security while patrolling
Performs general maintenance and cleaning within garages and lots.
May perform office duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
