Posting Summary:
The Communications and Marketing department of the McIntire School of Commerce seeks an energetic and resourceful Associate Director of Marketing. Serving a variety of areas across the school, the candidate will help develop and execute scalable marketing campaigns and project plans that meet our audiences where they are and complement our evolving brand. S/he will be responsible for providing marketing leadership, coordination and guidance across the School and its divisions with implementation of integrated marketing outreach activities via organic and paid digital, social and traditional media, including but not limited to web, email, social media, SEO, direct mail, paid search and advertising. S/he will work with our internal clients to understand goals and help to shape project plans that deliver measurable results and ROI. S/he will work to ensure all activities complement the McIntire brand, are delivered on time and provide results.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Capable of developing a framework to more efficiently gather, analyze and understand marketing data relevant to core business objectives (includes assessing social media, surveying audiences, and reviewing analytics)
-Experience establishing metrics to collect data and measure effectiveness and ROI
-Knowledge of how to execute a competitive analysis to measure the effectiveness of the School's marketing strategy
-Able to monitor and assure all content and associated processes are sensitive to and demonstrate commitment to attracting and serving a diverse population
-Ready to capitalize on trends and identify opportunities for the promotion of the McIntire School and its programs
-Highly organized with focus on owning a project through all stages of execution
-Impeccable client management skills
-Collaborative, team player able to contribute creative ideas in team setting
-Dynamic personality capable of motivating colleagues and clients under pressure
-Demonstrated project management experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
-Top-notch visual and written communication skills with an eye for detail
