Posting Summary:
The Department of Educational Leadership, Foundations, and Policy in the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor. The incumbent in this limited term appointment teaches both undergraduate and graduate classes in statistics for behavioral and health sciences students. Other duties include developing statistics curriculum for both in-person and on-line delivery and student advising.

A Ph.D. in Education with a focus in statistics is required as is experience successfully teaching statistics in higher education. Proven experience successfully teaching student struggling to understand statistics is essential. The ability to implement a variety of pedagogical techniques appropriate for academically diverse learners is required as is a proven record of collaboration with diverse groups of students and faculty. Finally, the ability to use technology in innovative ways to enhance instruction and to teach online is also required.
