Administrative Assistant-Computer Science Student Affairs Advisor

Job Description

-Provide a full range of administrative support to students and faculty in an extremely high-volume environment

-Provide full support to students, handle straightforward request, answer general academic advising questions, verify and process faculty advisor approved forms.

-Meet with students on general advising concerns, faculty advisors will still sign all forms, which would have been vetted by the administrator

-Refer students to faculty advisors for complex matters or long-term advising questions.

-Provide full support on special student related events (e.g. coordinating catering and logistics, Senior Design, End of Semester Party, Grace Hopper Conference, Google Events etc)

-Work closely with faculty assistantship coordinator per semesters on the hiring of graders, courses assistants and TA/RA's.

-Process Workday HR/Payroll and OSP Portal Payroll for student request per semester.

-Maintain student database (assistantships, budgets) and student records

-Must have prior administrative experience

-Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft
