Position Summary

Client Services is an area within Information Technology Services, UNCG's central technology service organization. It provides direct support for faculty, staff, student computing and classroom technology support. This position is part of the Technical Services Group that provides classroom and computing lab technology support, Audio Visual, networking, hardware and software support to UNCG students, faculty and staff.
The Technical Services staff is responsible, on a daily basis, for providing support on a wide range of issues relating to computer hardware, classroom and computing lab Audio/Visual technology installation, troubleshooting and maintenance, networking technologies, and application software installation and configuration. Technical Services consultants also lead and/or participate in projects to investigate and implement new technologies at UNCG and to improve or upgrade existing services.

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate's degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Technology Integration, Networking Technology, or related area and one year of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role: or a Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year experience in the information technology field related to the position's role: or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Journey level requires an additional one (1) year of experience
  • Advanced level requires an additional two (2) years of experience

Recruitment Range $40,101 - $46,094
