The Center for Information Management and Educational Services (CIMES) is a multi-disciplinary research and technical consulting center, located in Innovation Park.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a half-time writer with technical writing experience to assist with developing job aids and a training plan for a new software implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience.
Experience with developing training materials for software users
Experience with technical writing
Excellent written and verbal English skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment consisting of multi-functional team members and diverse clients
Ability to take direction from a team leader
Proficiency with word processing and project management software
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple work assignment simultaneously
Attention to detail and personal accountability

Other Information

Temporary employment with the possibility of continuation.

Anticipated Salary Range

$16 - $18/HR commensurate with experience

Soft Money Funded Position

This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.
