The College of Public Health is seeking an Academic Affairs Administrator to support the Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs in achieving academic priorities. This role serves as the registrar for the college and manages schedule building tasks using ZEVPLAN. In addition to registrar functions, there are tracking and reporting expectations related to unit budgeting, academic certificates, professional certifications, and academic resource development. The Administrator will work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure curricular compliance which may include advising on appropriate regulations and managing all processes related to curricular proposals. Additional responsibilities include documenting doctoral comprehensive/qualifying examinations, capstone presentations and submissions, and providing support for the Academic Affairs & Assessment, Practice & Community Engagement, and Undergraduate committees.

Physical Requirements

Sit for long periods of time in front of a computer; and perform repetitive motion. Infrequent lifting of light weight objects. Traversing short distances to other buildings on campus for meetings, etc.


Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm; additional hours may be required based on departmental needs.


SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), Database experience and Internet. Must have attention to detail, planning, strong oral and written communication as well as organization skills.

Preferred Education/Experience

Experience working in an academic or healthcare environment. Bachelor's degree at at least 3 years related work experience preferred.
