The UK College of Pharmacy is one of the top 5 pharmacy schools in the nation and is seeking to hire a Director of Admissions (DOA). This position holds the leadership and operations role for admissions, recruitment, pre-pharmacy advising, and associated event management processes. The DOA will develop financial strategies, budgets, and marketing plans for the College's recruitment and admissions initiatives. This position will serve as the chair of the admissions committee and develop procedures for review of applicants. The DOA will develop and implement appropriate admission policies and procedures and ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements. This role will also design, develop, and implement plans for the enhancement of student body diversity and develop enrollment forecast models for the college.

Ability to manage multiple projects, to perform effectively with a fluctuating workload, and to generate a number of different problem-solving approaches; Self-directed, working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction while setting priorities that accurately reflect relative importance of job assignments; Strong organizational skills, Strong writing and editing skills are essential; Prior experience advising students in higher education particularly pre-professional, Public relations skills, Experience managing collaborative partnerships, Superior communication, presentation, planning, and prioritization skills; Candidate must take the initiative in organizing and managing new programs and planning new events; Commitment to helping students identify and achieve their goals; Flexibility in a changing, fast-paced environment; Strong working knowledge of social media and technologies; Strong customer-service; Team management; Knowledge of trends in medical/health professional schools admissions. Some weekend and evening work, as well as travel, is required for recruitment activities.

Experience with advising and recruiting for professional healthcare college preferred. Driver's License also preferred.
