The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is currently recruiting candidates committed to providing a high standard of patient care and passionate about advancing the field of gynecology through teaching and clinical research to join our team as a full-time, non-tenure track Clinical Associate/Full Professor.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology clinics serve our community with more than 50,000 patient visits and 3,000 deliveries a year. As a member of a dedicated team, you will provide care as an obstetrician/gynecologist generalist at UF Health Shands Hospital, see patients at various clinics, and perform major and minor gynecologic surgeries. As an O.R. attending, you also will share responsibility for rotating night and weekend call (two weeknights and one weekend day per month currently).
The College of Medicine plays an important role in the education of medical students, resident physicians and fellows through its collaboration with the UF Health Physicians practices, UF Health Shands Hospital, and the Malcolm Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center. As a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our educational mission by teaching junior medical students, serving on hospital, medical and department committees, and participating in other department activities, including rounds, special lectures and postgraduate courses. In addition, you will apply your experience and insights to a program of clinical research in the area of general gynecology.Advertised Salary:
