Prepares reports and data analysis of institutional effectiveness data for campus community, state, and federal agencies and organizations.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Advanced training and experience using spreadsheet and database software for data management, research via data manipulation, and report design. Demonstrated outstanding organizational skills, logical reasoning, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Must be able to use logic and mathematics to develop and test programs and to verify the accuracy of data. Demonstrated excellent written communication skills, which are necessary for data analysis and communications of results. Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred: Master’s degree. Microsoft Excel and Access experience preferred. Experience with maintaining websites and dashboards. Experience programming with SQL. Experience with Banner system (or another ERP) and report writing software. Experience with institutional effectiveness. Experience with statistical analysis. Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and university procedures and policies related to institutional effectiveness.
Responsibilities: Editing and maintaining current and historical databases for institutional effectiveness data. Extracting, combining, and/or comparing data as needed to produce scheduled and ad hoc reports. Coordinate campus-based institutional effectiveness surveys. Assisting in documenting and tracking institutional effectiveness information requests and surveys. Serve as an Argos report writer. Assist with design and maintenance of institutional effectiveness websites. Collaborate with other offices to respond to university needs and reporting requirements. Perform other institutional effectiveness duties as required or assigned.
