Desirable Qualifications
• Basic understanding of best practices in user experience, information architecture, digital marketing analytics, and SEO, or willingness to learn
• Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or other photo editing application
• Excellence in written and verbal communication
• Strong customer service, project and client management skills
• Detail oriented with problem solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in commonly used office software and social media applications such as Microsoft Office, WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• 3 years related experience

It's an exciting time at Contra Costa College! We have a brand new campus and are working to make our online presence match our offline experience.

As a member of the Marketing Department, the Digital Marketing Specialist will provide excellent customer service to internal clients from the college's academic departments and student services areas. Tasks will include:
• performing website content updates using the WordPress platform
• supporting the creation of and enforcement of editorial style guides and website governance standards
• supporting the execution of digital marketing tactics by writing and editing content including blogs, email blasts, and posts for social media
• compiling marketing campaign reports
• social media monitoring

This is a part-time position with the majority of tasks to be performed onsite, during standard office hours.
