General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for an Associate Director of Compliance in Financial Aid. The Financial Aid Associate Director Compliance will lead the internal control and compliance administration as well as direct the financial aid office at one of the branch campuses.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Associate Director will:
  • Direct the effective management of branch campus.by leading a professional team of Financial aid administrators by providing excellent customer service to all students, parents and the community
  • Audit all compliance activities including federal and state aid regulations, institutional policies and procedures and NCAA policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement a training program for all staff to enhance their knowledge and establish cross training of all function in the aid office.
  • Work Collaboratively with Controller's office to ensure the development and coordination of comprehensive integrated financial services
  • Participates in Student Orientations and Open houses
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of routine office equipment and procedures
  • Knowledge of various software programs; knowledge of financial aid application procedures and forms
  • Requires effective communication skills
  • Accurate typing/data entry skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse population
  • Ability to utilize BANNER or a similar relational database


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five (5) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
