Degree and Area of Specialization:
Masters in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program is required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Minimum of two years post MSW experience is required.
Teach one of the courses listed below as part of the School of Social Work's Part Time MSW Program at the UW Eau Claire campus.
- Social Work 441, "Practice II: Generalist Practice with Individuals, Families, and Groups"
- Social Work 712, "Psychopathology for Social Work Practice in Mental Health"
- Social Work 741, "Interventions with Children, Youth and Families"
Location: UW Eau Claire campus
Social Work 441, Practice II: "Generalist Practice with Individuals, Families, and Groups" and Social Work 712, "Psychopathology for Social Work Practice in Mental Health" are currently scheduled for Saturdays 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm., and Social Work 741, "Interventions with Children, Youth and Families" is currently scheduled for Saturdays 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
There is a possibility this position can be extended in subsequent semesters to teach one or more of the course(s) listed on the PVL, or similar courses within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
