Degree and Area of Specialization:
Ph.D. and/or MD and/or DVM or equivalent in biological or biomedical science required. Areas of specialization to be considered include stem/progenitor cell biology, development biology, and tissue regeneration/engineering.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Candidates with at least 5 years of relevant postdoctoral experience, success in attracting extramural funding, and outstanding research accomplishments using induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to model human development disorders will be considered. The successful candidate also will have administrative experience at an institutional level and teaching experience. Candidates for Associate Professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the tenure track.
