Based in Georgetown, KY. The Department of Community Based Practice seeks an individual to provide medical assistance to include rooming patients, taking vital signs, identifying reason for visit and assisting with history, medication reconciliation, and preparation for provider visit.

Will chaperon visits as needed; check-out patients; provide patient education; check prescription refills; set-up procedures; obtain supplies; administer injections; assist with patient phone calls; provide excellent customer service; arrange for services and care ordered by provider including insurance authorization; update medical records; monitor rooms for use; stock, organize and prepare rooms.

This position is essential to outpatient clinic flow and patient care. The provider, patient and clinic team relies on the CST to provide basic medical support and customer care.
