Student Research Assistant Park City Project

Position Category: Student (Variable Hour)

Students research fellows assist the director of the Office of New Urban Mechanics by

1) conducting research related to various civic engagement tasks
2) working directly with community partners and clients to assure successful and timely completion of projects
3) collecting and analyzing data
4) developing written reports
5) assisting with the design and execution of major events and activities in association with local government leaders and community partners

Required Qualifications:
Must be a current UVU student.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledgeable in research methods, the internet, and word processing.

Experience with conducting interviews, focus groups, surveys, and general research design are all positives. Excellent written and oral communications are a must. Any experience with graphic design, digital media, social media, or general marketing will be considered favorably.

Ability to produce professional quality research, writing, and findings in a timely manner.
