Under the direction of the Senior Diversity Officer, the Resource Specialist provides project management, comprehensive planning, grant writing, and development of resources for developing the Resource Center and for addressing the needs of various and intersecting identity groups at UWG.
This position works closely with the programming coordinator to ensure that programming activities are fully funded.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. 
2-3 years experience related to: 
- working in a post-secondary environment, 
- coordinating collaborations among disadvantaged and diverse populations, 
- grant writing and project management, and
- writing/editing and proofreading a variety of technical documents.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Self-motivated, personable, bridge-builder.
Ability to conduct research.


Preferred Qualifications

2-3 years of grant writing experience.
1-2 years experience with social media marketing.
2-3 working on issues affecting LGBTQ+ students



$17.76 (minimum) to $25.07 (midpoint) Hourly


Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Ability to lift and transport 35 pounds if needed.
