Accounting Clerk III

Description/Job Summary
***please note this is a 4 month contract***

Essential Functions:
  • Enters journal entries in FMIS (R*STARS) for daily transactions, monthly close-out, and year-end close-out.
  • Assists in the month-end and/or year-end spreadsheets and schedules including preparing trial balances, and reconciling ledgers.
  • Assists in the compliance of the Corporate Credit Card (CPC) including reviewing transactions and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with information requests from auditors.
  • Assist with opening and sorting mail as needed and assist with preparation of check transmittals for processing, as needed.

Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of (3) year's accounting clerical work experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
