Posting Information: The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Western Carolina University invites applications for a fixed-term Lecturer in Chemistry effective August 2017. Responsibilities include teaching chemistry lecture and laboratory courses, primarily at the introductory level. Candidates must have completed at least a master's degree in chemistry or a closely related discipline prior to the hire date. Prior teaching experience at the college level is preferred. Western Carolina University is a member institution of the University of North Carolina system and is located in a scenic valley near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, ca. 50 miles West of Asheville, NC. The position is open until filled.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: A master's degree in chemistry is required by the starting date. Degree must be from an appropriately accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
