Incumbent will manage the distribution of all Seminole Club related mass electronic communications. Will oversee the design and development, as well as content development, for the Seminole Club microsite and the Seminole Club blog site; update and maintain the Seminole Club microsite on the association's website and on the Seminole Club blog site on a daily or as needed basis; and coordinates with Programs, Membership and Communication team members accordingly. Assists with the design and development, as well as content development, of Program and Outreach microsite, including Alumni Networks, Young Alumni and Student Alumni Association.
Writes, edits and proofreads copy for Seminole Club and Programs e-blasts and collateral materials. Manages and maintains Social Media presence related to Seminole Clubs including composing posts, responding to inquiries and moderating discussions. Social media efforts may include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube, Vine and Flickr. Assists with the social media presence related to Programs and Outreach, including Alumni Networks, Young Alumni and Student Alumni Association.
Works with Communications team as needed in all of the roles, as related to general Alumni Association website, social media and communications efforts. Coordinates and contributes to Seminole Club and Programs content in association with electronic newsletters, biannual magazine and other communications vehicles. Assists in the development of statistical reports to evaluate Seminole Club communications and services. Assists with regular data requests related to the promotion of Seminole Club events and efforts, including direct mail efforts and e-communications. Also, assists the Communication team with light design projects such as creating logos/artwork for Seminole Clubs, as well as artwork for events/initiatives directly related to Seminole Clubs.
Incumbent will be required to drive to various functions to represent the Alumni Association. Assists in the planning, promotion and execution of events associated with Alumni Association and University Outreach including, but not limited to: the annual Seminole Club Leadership Conference, efforts for membership acquisition, special events, alumni outreach programs, constituency groups, reunions, and homecoming.


A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience related to the duties of the job; or relevant post high school education and/or experience to equal six years. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook or equivalent software. Social Media experience, to include, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Vine or Flickr.
Superior written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with Communication staff verbally and in writing.
Ability to contribute to the planning, coordination and execution of Seminole Club programming and communications. Track record of creative thinking, with the ability to work with a diverse population of team members and constituents. Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of the Association and participate enthusiastically in the life of the University.
Service-oriented approach; excellent project planning and management skills; and ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations and tight deadlines. Careful attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills.
Valid Florida or Georgia driver's license or ability to obtain.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening, weekend, and holiday hours.


Volunteer management experience a plus. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and WordPress. Background in coding for website maintenance.
Ability to read statistical reports, and provide quantitative analysis on communication tools.

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.

Soft Money Funded Position

This is a soft money funded position, with renewal based on available funds and the needs of the University.


Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
