Position Type: Support Staff

Position Summary:
Student Ambassadors serve as a liaison between Alvin Community College and the Community, and are expected to assist with recruiting efforts. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist Student Recruiter with community events
  • Disseminate information regarding ACC programs and services to the community
  • Assist with on-campus events
  • Conduct campus tours to prospective students (individual and group)
  • Assist with creating new and innovative marketing strategies
    (Multiple positions available)

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • High School diploma or GED
    • Some college courses
    • Must have served as a Student Ambassador during a previous semester
    • Must have the ability to organize and maintain schedule of work and handle multiple tasks
    • Must have excellent communication skills; verbal and written

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Public speaking experience
