Sr. Research Analyst - Ed Evaluation/Assessment

Position Category: Staff - Full-Time

An excellent opportunity to support the School of Education and the Dean in this position as a Sr. Research Analyst who will manage, implement, evaluate and coordinate the data collection tools and processes. The Sr. Research Analyst will work with school districts throughout the State, with stakeholders, clients and team members to ensure up to date data collection methodologies, propose and implement data collection tool improvements, and prepare project data evaluation reports in collaboration with team members and other interested parties. The Sr. Research Analyst will plan, initiate, and attend meetings with appropriate clients and principal investigators as well as with the staff, respond to feedback, implement approved changes, and track and organize reports and other evaluation materials. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution with bachelor’s degree and three years of related field experience OR Master’s degree and one year of related field experience totaling seven years.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of educational evaluation and assessment theory and practice.
  • Experience working with various stakeholders in education.
  • Knowledge of K-12 education.
  • Knowledge of data collection and management.
  • Knowledge of and willingness to uphold professional and ethical standards for program evaluation and assessment.
  • Skills in managing educational program evaluation.
  • Interpersonal communication skills.
  • Management, leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to relate well with colleagues and various education stakeholders.
  • Ability to work constructively with K-12 personnel and with various partners across the evaluation process.
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written skills for report preparation and proposals.
  • Ability to travel to sites to collect data as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with an earned doctorate in Evaluation and Assessment (or Research and Evaluation or related degree).
Experience with large scale educational evaluation.
Experience writing evaluation reports.

Physical Requirements:
Continual talking, hearing, seeing, fine hand manipulation working on the computer. Requires standing, sitting, walking.

Pay Range: $48,117 - $64,157
