Chemeketa Community College welcomes applications for a full-time Landscape Technician II

Position Summary

This position performs skilled maintenance and repair of College grounds; with a special focus on maintenance and repair of the College's irrigation system. 

Terms of Employment:
This is a permanent 100%, 12-month classified assignment of the B2 band and grade.
Requires flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which will include evenings and/or weekends
Requires reporting to work during inclement weather condition or any other condition that might require a campus closure
Upon hire, must pass security inquiry which may include criminal and/or driving history; only information relevant to the position will be considered 
Upon hire, must successfully complete a physical agility and fitness test
Must have and maintain a valid Oregon driver's license (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Must have and maintain a valid State chemical application permit holder or obtain within six months of hire

$2,624.00 - $3,802.00 Monthly


High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.)


Two years of full-time equivalent experience performing maintenance and repair work related to grounds, and related systems.


Two years of full-time equivalent experience performing maintenance, repair and installation of spray and drip irrigation systems
