Position Summary
 

Minot State University’s Division of Social Science invites applications for a visiting one-year sabbatical replacement position in Economics, fall 2017 & spring 2018. Economics is part of the Division of Social Science, an interdisciplinary unit that also includes History, Geography, Sociology, Philosophy, and Political Science.


Responsibilities

The successful candidate will teach four courses each semester, including two 35-persons sections of microeconomics in the fall and two sections of macroeconomics in the spring.  Advanced courses for fall term are Managerial Economics (on-campus) and Money and Banking (online, using an existing course).  Advanced courses for spring are Natural Resource Economics and National Income Analysis (both taught on campus).


Qualifications


Teaching experience and an MA and advanced graduate work or PhD in Economics or related field required. Priority will be given to applicants with experience and commitment to high-quality teaching.

Compensation
