General Summary of Position:
This being an internal opportunity, only current UML Employees, irrespective of Bargaining units are eligible to apply for this position.

The successful applicant will develop specialized tool suites for experimental research into how networks of small cells perform in real environments. These will include robot and drone based autonomous and guided measurement systems. Candidate will develop measurement and robotic software. Candidate will teach classes as assigned.

This position is for one year contingent upon funding and successful performance.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
-PhD in Electrical Engineering
-The ability to work effectively with diverse groups
Experience and Skills:
The following experience and skills are required of the successful candidate:
-Significant experience programming C++ in the Robot Operating System Environment using Kobuki robotic platform. This is applied to autonomous and guided robotic wireless measurement systems.
-Experience developing applications in Microsoft Visual Basic. Net environment for analyzing and presenting data from wireless walk/drive testing experiments.
-Experience developing Java applications for Android Cell Phones in the Android Studio Environment
-Experience making and analyzing data from wireless measurements of LTE, WCDMA, CDMA-2000, 1xEVDO wireless communication systems
-Experience developing dashboard automation tools for presenting data in Microsoft Excel environment using Microsoft visual Studio
