**POSTITION IS LOCATED IN LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY**

The Compassionate Schools Project - Implementation Coach is responsible for supervising the implementation of the Compassionate Schools Program (CSP) Health and wellness Curriculum. Duties include planning, developing and conducting professional development of teachers. Also, coaching, training of teachers, and program implementation and evaluation.

A Master's in Education or related field with four years of teaching experience is required. Teaching in a public elementary school setting is preferred. Experience in planning, developing, and conducting professional development and communicating effectively and professionally with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds in school and project settings are required. Prior training and experience in mindfulness, mindful movement and/or other contemplative practices are required. Prior training and teaching experience in one or more of the following areas: social and emotional learning, mindfulness, wellness-promotion/health education/physical education, and movement-based practices.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are essential as are excellent organizational skills. Outstanding judgment and the ability to make informed decisions are also required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)

Some experience administering multi-site programs in schools or non-profits and experience in a supervisory or mentoring role are preferred. Experience teaching mindfulness and contemplative practices to children is highly preferred. Experience conducting education research in school setting is preferred.

This is a restricted position and continuation is dependent upon satisfactory performance and the availability of funding. Currently the position is funded for two years.
