General Summary
The Coordinator of Marketing and Communication provides marketing services for the Dean of Students Office and its function units. The primary duties include researching, developing, and implementing marketing plans, managing the department's social media presence, overseeing production of marketing materials, coordinating outreach events, providing art direction, and training departmental staff on marketing policies and operational guidelines and coordinating outreach to Illinois State parents and families.

Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree
2.Three (3) years of work experience developing and implementing marketing strategies for a multifaceted organization, utilization of electronic and print media and social networking for marketing, and working with clients to develop marketing materials.
3. Proficiency with graphic design / page layout software and excellent written communication skills.
4. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
