This position reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager. The primary function is to assist in the
processing of student tuition and fees. This position is also responsible for collection and communicating to students who have a past due balance.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting students at the cashier window with processing tuition and fee payments and providing customer service to students and third parties.

Responsible for cashiering functions that include opening/closing a cash drawer, reconciling payments, and preparing deposits for the bank.

Collect and enter student fees and financial authorizations into the Student Information System, including all mail-in and phone-in payments.

Contacting current students with past due balance and students who have graduated or withdrawn who have a balance.

Assist in the maintenance of NSF check notifications.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Receivable Manager.

Position Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Some clerical or bookkeeping experience preferred.

Excellent computer and software skills.

Familiarity with cash collection procedures.

Familiarity with word processing and Windows applications.
