Serves as the chief aid administrator of Albion’s financial assistance programs and implements aid policies within the context of the institution’s mission and in compliance with all federal and state regulations.  The Director is responsible for all personnel, financial and operational activities within Student Financial Services.  The position is responsible for ensuring fiscal accountability in fund management, disbursement and recovery of funds, compliance and audits, and technology and information systems. Additional leadership responsibilities in enrollment related areas may be assigned according to interest and experience. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload. Must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion.


  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience; 8 years of experience preferred
  • Experience administering financial aid programs required
  • Must have a valid, or be eligible to obtain, a Michigan driver’s license and clearing initial and periodic driving record checks.
