PROJECT COORDINATOR - SCHOOL OF NURSING (PART-TIME)

PLEASE NOTE: This position is part-time.

100% Grant-Funded

1. Serves as the contact person on daily operations and management of the Communities of Practice (CoP) HRSA grant.
Interacts with the business office and grants management office on financial and compliance matters related to HRSA.
Stays current work plan, reports and other duties for CoP and confers with Program Director and other members of the grant to ensure smooth seamless operations of the program.
Anticipates problems, informs and works with Program Director on averting problem and/or remedying troubling situations.
Creates documents as needed related to responding to issues associated with CoP and/or official reports.
Works with other CoP faculty and staff in problem solving, trouble shooting, and resolving non-academic matters.
Acts as key contact person with other programs and offices around the campus in support of the mission and purpose of CoP.

2. Exercises responsibility for all aspects of the CoP budget inclusive of manage and approve all expenditures; counsels project personnel relative to desired expenditures for compliance with budget and spending plan; maintains detailed accounting records and follows protocols congruent with standard accounting procedures and expectations of the Grants Management office; advises the Project Director on a regular basis of grant balances, variances, and the extent of compliance with anticipated spending plan; and prepares financial reports for internal use and prepares reports that may assist the PD in his/her development of reports to the federal government ; and ensures that financial practices are in accordance with federal guidelines, protocols, and with legal and regulatory statures.

3. Create and maintain project documentation, plans and reports.
Coordinates activities, resources, meetings, equipment related to the grant.
Liase with members of the grants and other potential collaborators.
Act as a point of contact and communicate project status adequately.

4. Assist and support PD in their daily asks/duties.
Ensure relevant management information is captured and analyzed.
Assist with scheduling.
Track, analyze and communicate project risks and opportunities.
Assist in the coordination of the project. Assist in the development of training and briefing materials.
Track and report project progress.
Update documentation, Create and maintain documents related to grant.

5. Maintain liaison with project participants, including researchers, project personnel, participating subjects as well as other interested parties to establish a communication system to coordinate the various aspects of the project; respond to inquiries about the project according to established policies and procedures.
Maintain liaison with Project Director, Principal Investigators, Co-investigators and other study team members to coordinate the collection and dissemination of related data.

6. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
